On Easter day we headed to early church at 8:30, then came home to find Easter baskets and eggs, played a little
Michael Jackson: The Experiece on the Wii with the kids, and then headed on over to the Niebuhr house for lunch and more Easter fun. The kids enjoyed all the egg hunting. Callan was really funny because every time he found an egg he would shriek with delight while saying "found one!" The candy, money and toys were all a huge hit. They were the most fascinated by the chicken that laid gum ball eggs from Oma. We enjoyed a yummy meal and some wonderful company. We ended the weekend with a 6:30 bedtime which was great for everyone! The kids had Monday off of school and got plenty of time to play with their new toys. The weather has been really nice which makes for much happier kids who can run off some energy. Here are some pictures of our Easter.
