Random February photos

I know I haven't done a general update on the boys in a really long time. So because of that I have missed lots of funny things they have said and things they have done.  But I hoping March is going to be that month that I can do an update.  This post is just random photos I took in the month of February.

UNL women's basketball game

Last weekend we didn't have anything planned so I thought it would be nice to go to a women's basketball game as a family.  As luck (and a nice friend) would have it we all got in for free! We got to sit in the general admission area of the arena but it was pretty much full so we moved over to another section (knowing we might have to move if the ticket holders come) and had pretty good seats.  The boys enjoyed watching the game and the cotton candy!  It was an afternoon game and the weather was nice so walking downtown was nice too.

Science fair

One of Carter's friends, Harrison, asked him if he wanted to do the science fair.  Of course he was thrilled and couldn't wait to get started.  Since they both love sports they decided to do an experiment to see if the amount of air in a ball would effect the bounce.  They went over to Harry's house one afternoon to work on it and make the poster board.  They even made a video of them testing out the different air pressures.  The boys did a great job with it all.  They were nervous to present it to people but especially the principal.  The night went well and we were proud of the work they put in.  The boys were sad that they didn't get to go around and see other peoples, but we did let them towards the end of the night.

Camden's last basketball game

Camden had his last basketball game on Sunday. This was such a fun team and our best experience from the Y. Camden's team grew a lot and we loved seeing Camden come out of his shell and really enjoy playing basketball.  It was fun being on the team with some of his friends and we so happy that our neighbor Jeff volunteered to coach.  Here are few pictures and a video of his last game.

Valentine's Day

I was able to attend both of the boys Valentine parties at school the friday before Valentine's Day to spend some time with them and get some pictures. Both for me and for the school year book. They got to play a few games, eat cookies and juice and then take some time to look at their Valentines. On Saturday, Chad and I went out to eat at Hiro for dinner and then to a movie.  We had a nice date night and a good way to end a week of celebrating our love for one another.  All week long we got each other a small gift, note or a nice deed.  It made for a nice week thinking of the other person.  On Sunday we watched the Vlieger kids so that Brandt and Kaci could go on a date.  I made all the kids breakfast for dinner and the kids played together nicely.  Over all it was a great Valentine's week!

his bag full of valentines. (the teacher told me that while they were decorating their bags camden asked if he had to add a lot of stuff. she said no, so he asked if he could go read instead. I also have to add that he wrote Cam Newton on his bag instead of Camden Scribner.  he only knows of him because of Carter and doesn't really follow sports.  I found that super funny)
