We had a pretty low key Father's Day. On Saturday night we took the kids out to eat at Fazoli's. I know, fancy. They were pretty tired and worn out from the night before when we went over to a friends house to enjoy their new fire pit and s'mores. Sunday we went to church and grocery shopping and then met the Scribner grandparents at Fireworks for lunch. We enjoyed watching grandpa read the *all about grandpa* things they filled out. Then we headed home for some napping and then off to Brian and Erin's for grilled hot dogs/polish dogs and a bunch of sides. We got to enjoy talking about our potential Disney trip with the Niebuhr family next fall and reminisce about what we remember from when we were kids. The kids had some nerf gun battles and then we headed home. When we got home all of our neighbors were outside sitting around Jon's new fire pit so we had to stop by and chat for a while. We ended Father's day by binge watching the last few episodes of Orange is the New Black and staying up until 2am to finish the season.

this picture was not easy to get. i was trying different camera settings and all the boys wanted to do was walk on their feet to see if the letters would rub off of the concrete. this was the best of about 79 photos.
dinner at Fazoli's (carter had been to a b-day party and got his face painted like a clown and then proceeded to jump in a bounce house and get sweaty, so now he looks like Heath Ledger as the joker. Said face paint also got on his shirt, but even though I was mad, it did come out in the wash)
