A while back my mom had talked to me about having Carter run track for the Lincoln Track Club. You can only do it until you are 8 so time was running out for him to try it. I selfishly was not looking forward to adding another thing to our to do list and having to drive to the north side of Lincoln every Tuesday night. My mom really wanted Carter to try it so she offered to put him in it and take him to it. We are going to attend some of the nights where they run for ribbons and compete. My mom was out of town for his first practice so we took the whole family and there to see what it was all about. The weather was not cooperating and it was pretty darn cold, but Carter really enjoyed his first night of track.
