Last day of preschool

Callan had his last day of preschool on Monday.  He was so excited for the fun field day, while I was secretly so sad for it to be over.  I went up to the school for the last hour to take a few pictures of his field day and see him one last time.  We have absolutely *loved* our preschool.  The teachers and directors are so great and we love that it is a small school.  I vividly remember walking in there 6 years prior a week or two from my due date with Callan, carrying Camden on my hip and Carter in hand. I had no idea how I was going to get them all out the door twice a week.  Fast forward 6 years and here I am, walking out of that church for the last time. I never thought I would see that day.  I thought I would be stuck in the preschool days forever.  Who would have thought I would have been so sad to see these precious days be over.  I am so glad we choose that school and had the teachers we did.  Our family is blessed for sure! Callan enjoyed his last day of games and fun.  We even headed over to Eileen's cookies for our traditional last day of school treat.

A GOAL!!

On Mother's day Callan had a soccer game so we all went to watch. It was a nice day and I brought my good camera to take some action shots. I got quite a few.  Callan has really loved playing and he has done a good job.  He has scored several goals this season and I caught one on my camera this week!

Mother's Day

I was a little lazy this year with taking pictures on Mother's Day.  I think it is the time of the year.  We have so much going on that I just can't keep up with everything.  I did have a wonderful day and got little gifts from the kids the days leading up.  Each boy bought me one of my favorite things with their own money and made me a card.  It was super sweet.  The night before Mother's Day chad and I went out for his birthday with friends and that was a nice get away.  I did get a bluetooth head set for my cell phone, from Chad, which I have loved so far.  We had a fairly busy day but I got to do a few things I wanted.  We went to a few parade homes in the afternoon and also got to watch Callan play a soccer game.  We went over to my parents house for an easy dinner of pizza and cheese cake all done by the men, including clean up.

Lunch with Callan

Last week I took Callan out to lunch after preschool one day.  Since he only has a little more time with just mom home with him I thought we would go eat.  He chose to go to the gateway mall to eat Chinese food.  We had a nice lunch and he bought me a cookie from the cookie company for my Mother's day gift.  It was a beautiful day so we spent the rest of the day outside.

Mother's Day/Chad's Birthday

We had a celebration with Chad's family for his birthday and Mother's day last night.  We ate at Texas Roadhouse and then went to Goodrich for dessert. It was a nice little get together and we had time to chat and catch up.

Chad's 38th Birthday

Chad turned 38 on Monday!  We enjoyed celebrating him and have continued several celebrations. On monday he woke up to donuts, cards, presents and balloons!  The boys showered him with love and homemade cards. For lunch he brought home some sandwiches and we laughed at all the funny birthday messages he was getting. Like this one Shawn made him.

Then after swimming lessons we hopped in the car and drove across town to eat at king kong. Chad's choice.  Then we came home for dessert which was an Eileen's frosted chocolate chip cookie!  Then he chose to watch a documentary called Atari:game over.  It was pretty good.  We hope he had a wonderful day filled all the love from his family who couldn't do it without him.  We love him so much!
