I haven't really written to much of an update on the boys lately and thought I would share a few new things. Camden got a new tooth at the end of February. His right upper lateral incisor. The left one looks like it is about to poke through as well. He is consistently waving *bye bye* and a about a week ago he took his first independent steps. He has totaled four in a row before falling. He is super huge on practicing but I think in the next few weeks it should take off. He is %100 off the bottle now and has been for a few weeks. He is still not a fan of the sippy cup but doesn't understand a straw quite yet. It wasn't the smoothest transition since he was sick during some of the time we were trying to wean him but there were no sleepless nights so that we are thankful for. He hasn't been taking the greatest naps either so I don't know if some changes or coming or if his teeth are bothering him. Hopefully it is short lived since he is my good sleeper now. (it only took a whole year) He is also a bottomless pit. I have realized that if you set in his highchair and don't put food in front of him within 30 seconds you will regret it. He freaks out when he is hungry. And don't try and put some filler on the tray until the food gets there unless it is something he loves or you will get an earful as well. If it is 10 minutes past meal time he will also start having meltdowns. Part of it is my fault because I got out of the habit of offering morning snacks, and not that I have reinstated that things have been a bit better. I will say he can eat me under the table. It is amazing how much food he can put away and how fast he can do it. One last story on Camden is that his new favorite game is to play *where's Camden*. He will put his fists over his eyes until you say "where's Camden" then he releases and waits for you to say "There he is!" If you happen to forget, he will do it again until he gets the response he is waiting for. He just giggles and giggles and can do it for hours.
Now on the Carter. We have had a weird thing going on over here with him throwing up. It started as the stomach flu and then after that was way over he threw up again, just once and acted fine after than. Then a week later, same thing. I don't know what is going on but hopefully it is done and won't happen anymore. Carter has started to say to Chad or I after he got yelled at or in trouble, "I want mommy happy" or "I want daddy happy". It is super funny and I don't know where he got it from. Of course our response is "we would be happy if you listened to us." He sings up a storm especially when he is independently playing. The two most popular songs are the *wheels on the bus* and *ring around the rosey*. I always smile when I hear him just singing his heart out while playing, it is very sweet. He has also gotten into trouble a lot lately for not coming when we say 1-2-3. We are trying to teach him that when we get to 3 he needs to be standing next to us. Needless to say he has spent some time in *time out* for it. So now when we start counting he yells "I'm tomming, I'm tomming" When it comes to food Carter is usually pretty generous and lately has wanted to share his food with Camden. It usually isn't a problem but he likes to give him things like his sucker, raisins, whole grapes, a whole slice of cheese. Plus he doesn't realize that Camden doesn't always just *take a bit* So we have tried to tell him that somethings are just for big boys and he seems ok with that. Carters ability to talk on the phone has taken a huge step lately. He seems to understand the concept and can talk about his day or answer simple questions. Sometimes you have to hint to him, but his language is amazing. He is speaking in full sentences and is repeating some amazing things. I LOVE that we can have conversations and love hearing what he has to say. Some of his favorite things are Curious George, the Little People DVD, The movie Cars (or anything to do with the movie Cars), the color black, suckers, spiderman underwear, and anything that has tires. The last thing I have to document is the fact that we have had bedtime battles. It started because we were trying to encourage him to get out of bed if he needed to go pee. So he first started getting out of bed and just laying by the door then it escalated to him getting up and opening the door. So after a week or two of this nonsense we laid down the law and said no getting up. (we will work on the night time pee thing later) So we had one really bad night of him screaming and us taking him back to bed. But I have to say if you would have video taped us we did it just like super nanny says and it worked. The next night he tried it just once, had a tiny set back the next night and tried several times but since then it has been good. I did turn on a little bit brighter night light for him which I think he liked because he can *read* longer in bed before he gets tired. So I took a picture of him the first night we had the battle. This is his little hand sticking out from under the door. This is where he fell asleep.

On to baby Scribner #3. I had an appointment on Monday and all was well with the baby. The heart rate was 156. ( I was hoping for higher so I could think their was a chance it was a girl) We are not going to find out this time around so I have a full nine months to pretend I might have a little girl. But in case you wanted to see what the baby would look like, here you go.
